These small strawberry plants are just perfect for growing at the edge of a border in a flower patch.  They are much smaller than ordinary strawberries and don't suffer from getting runners which trail into everything meaning they remain much more compact.  You get the benefit from flowers and then the fruit.  The strawberry although much smaller are more fragrant in flavour.

  2. Winter cabbage seeds just starting to germinate.

    They'll put on a rapid rate of growth now.  This variety is Tundra and is very frost hardy so should stand in the ground until ready for pulling.

    I always grow these in modules first just because I don't have the room for a seed bed.
